On this page are links to photocopies I made of Norfolk Wills at the Borthwick Institute in York. I struggled with them for a while until I realised I was never going to be able to transcribe more than just a few words per line - if that - and then I enlisted the help of Anna Wheeler, an archivist at York City Archives. She is, without doubt, the most friendly and helpful person I could have hoped to have met and her expertise, knowledge, interest and enthusiasm have been far more than I could ever have expected.
Anna deciphered and transcribed the Wills literally (how she manages to read them is quite amazing) and then I just added a final touch to make them read a bit more like modern English.
